Blog friend and taxidermist amandasautopsies is looking for a bit of help!
So I am looking find out any information I can about the type, make & model & the manufacturer of Fred Perry’s Pipe. I have attached an image from the net of Fred Smoking his pipe. He was such an avid pipe smoker that he initially wanted the logo for his clothing line to be a smoking pipe rather than the laurel we see today!
The pipe style looks like a canadian to me, but I couldn’t tell you anything about the manufacturer. Anyone got any more info?
Fire and a good pipe are two of my favorite things. I’m so glad it takes one to make the other work.
(My first unformatted submission cause Yeasun did it all for me, thanks buddy!)

While going through digital photographic archives last night, I kept coming across photos that reminded me of some of my favorite Tumblr gentlemen of the briar, so I figured I would pass them along. :) The only one that I had trouble deciding on was Lawrence P. Arnold dressed up as Popeye in 1937 (also from the Rescuing Texas History collection):
And I love it.
